Tudor Flowers & Elizabethan Flowers

Coiling stems with leaves and tendrils enclose four stylised flowers: Tudor Rose, Fritillary, Pansy and Honeysuckle. Tudor Flowers is worked in wool on linen twill while a sharper texture is achieved on the Elizabethan Flower version by using stranded cotton on cotton twill. The design is the same for both but I know that there are some who don’t like to work in wool. The kits contain printed fabric, wools, a needle and full stitching instructions. Shown here made as cushions but the kit is only for the embroidered panel.
