Why do you need my personal data?
If you place an order through my website, I will need your name and address, along with your credit or debit card number and the billing and shipping addresses. This will allow me to fulfil your order.
I will also ask for your email address and phone number so I can send you updates about your order and contact you in the event of any queries relating to it.
How will my data be stored?
All personal data is stored securely in my system. Our website is encrypted by an SSL certificate (look for the https: in the address bar in your browser). When you place an order the payment processors PayPal or WorldPay handle the processing and storing of your credit or debit card details. I do not store that on my own file server. I do not have sight of your card information.
Is my data used for Direct Marketing?
If you want to be kept up to date with new product launches, promotions and offers you can opt to receive email newsletters. You can do this by calling me or signing up to my mailing list on this website or at one of the shows I attend.
What if I change my mind and no longer want to receive newsletters?
If you change your mind at any point and no longer want to be kept up-to-date, you can alter your contact choices, by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email or calling me.
Do you pass my data on to other companies or organisations?
I never pass customer email addresses on to anyone else for direct marketing purposes. I may sometimes share your name, address and email address with trusted third parties to help service your account, for example if I send you items via a courier company.
How long will you keep my data for?
If you don’t visit my website, shop with me or respond to my emails for 7 years I will no longer keep your personal data and will delete it securely. I am legally required to retain some records relating to your orders for that length of time for tax reasons.
Does your website collect and store any other personal data?
You don’t have to consent to using cookies when you visit. You can also disable them by changing the appropriate settings in your internet browser.
Please note, if you disable cookies, you will still be able to use the website, but some of the features may be missing.
Do you hold any data about my purchases?
When you place an order I do hold and process your purchase data (i.e. details of your order, but not your payment card information). This helps me provide order history information to you via the ‘my account’ section of the website or when you contact me.
I also use your purchase information, combined with that from other customers, to help with marketing plans and to improve my product range and promotional plans.
